RSVP V1, V2, and MX
So many people have asked Kam what pen he use, and how it is different from regular pens. So, instead of having to repeat myself every time, he've decided to post the answer here. Well, he generally use pens that he modify on his own (because he can't find commercially available pens that are good for spinning). This is a list of pens that he have modded (made into a mod, or modification) and used. This is not a complete list as hehave made many more pens, but not all of them turned out to be good spinning pens. Here are some of my favorites:
RSVP V1
The Pros: Cheap, easy to make, acts almost like a regular RSVP, great for beginners.
The Cons: Unbalanced, not long and heavy enough for harder tricks, lack of aesthetic appeal.
This is almost like a regular RSVP (made by Pentel), but with the clip removed, the ink reversed, and the COP marked in the ink tube. This is my quick way to turn a regular pen into a spinnable object. Because this is meant to be a quick fix for the Pentel RSVP, no special inset design is made for this pen. The advantages of this pen is that its easy to make, it feels almost exactly like a regular Pentel RSVP, and it's not very heavy. he usually practice with this pen if he want to be able to take any RSVP (let's say you borrowed from someon) and start spinning. I also recommend this pen to beginners, who have not yet trained the proper strength with their fingers.

RSVP V2
The Pros: Added weight for extended spins, great for Infinity tricks, good design and visual appearance for videos.
The Cons: Still unbalanced, not long enough for the hardest tricks, metal tip makes it more dangerous.
This is a much better pen than the RSVP V1. In addition to all the modifications in the RSVP V1, there's a metal tip (that adds weight to the pen for improved spinning) and a special grip (that is perfect for Infinity tricks). Both of these parts were taken from a Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (also made by Pentel), which makes the cost a bit higher. The specially made design that fits inside the pen also marks the COP clearly, which is perfect for balancing tricks, as well as for learning most tricks. This is the pen I used for the SuperHandz video, and like to use on my videos (because it clearly shows the COP and the two different ends).
RSVP MX
The Pros: Even more weight and length for advanced tricks, best aesthetic appeal (discrete COP and cool perspective design), still suitable for all the basic tricks.
The Cons: Too heavy for beginners, time consuming to make, not suitable for videos.
By far the best modded RSVP I have created so far. This pen is even heavier than the RSVP V2, due to the added grip that is put inside the cap. This pen gives you the most in momentum for a pen of this size, making it great for extended spins. This is the pen to I use for almost all tricks. The added weight of the extra grip also makes it more balanced than the RSVP V1 or V2. All modifications found in the RSVP V1 and V2 are included, and the body of the pen is cleaned out of any original manufacturer writings, for a smoother surface and better aesthetic appeal. The ultra cool design improves on the RSVP V2's perspective design to make this pen be worth as a collector's item. I like to use this pen for practicing the hardest tricks and to show off as well. The only drawback is that it's not suitable for teaching videos, since the marked COP of the design is very subtle.
